National Autism Awareness Month littleBits Workshop: Invent for Good

Designed for children and tweens ages 8–12, this workshop introduces fundamental engineering and design concepts using circuitry and basic parts, while raising awareness and support of and for the autistic community.

As a group we will conduct a needs assessment of individuals affected by autism spectrum disorder based on resources provided by the Autism Self Advocacy Network. Participants will use their littleBits workshop kits to make a prototype invention that could potentially make a positive impact for the autistic community.
